Lisa is the owner of Blue Sky Acupuncture, LLC and moved the clinic to McMinnville, OR in 2011.  Lisa graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2007 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  Lisa is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbologist and provides Nutritional Counseling.  She greatly enjoys helping people improve their quality of life and specializes in Pain Elimination and management as well as auto-immune disorders and food allergies.  She has a broad network of medical professionals that she works with regularly should your case need additional support and care.  In her personal time Lisa loves to be on the water with her SUP, hiking and spending time with her young son Lucas!

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is not for everyone, but it can be a powerful tool to manage weight, decrease inflammation and promote healing.  There are several amazing research studies and information about this old, but making a comeback, concept.  Fast, Feast, Repeat and The Obesity Code are two great resources. What is most important is look at all the various ways to do intermittent fasting.  It is about long term health with rest, not starvation.  It is about helping your body thrive and live longer with better quality of life.

Spices are for flavor, but that's it right?  WRONG!  These two spices are also powerful medicine, as are many more!  While there are many traits of these specific two herbs, the one that I think is so awesome is that they are both natural anti-histamines!  Consuming these regularly can support your body when challenged with a high histamine food and has also been shown to help your body cope with external allergens as well!  LOVE IT!  Get those herb gardens going folks!
