ERIN
LeFEVRE
Erin creates a relaxed
and fun environment for safe healing. Her work is very
muscle specific, blending her intuitive understanding with
her training in Swedish,
deep tissue,
trigger point, and
sports massage. Erin
combines her compassion, intuition, respect, and knowledge
of the body to determine what each client needs. She has a
gentle yet firm touch, attuned to where your body is, and
where it needs to go. Her main goal is to work with each
person to reach their wellness, experience pain reduction,
balance, and stress relief.
Erin graduated from
Prescott College in 1998 having completed a degree in
Psychology and Photography. She moved to Portland in 2000
and began working in social services, first with mentally
ill adults and then with autistic children. Erin recognized
her desire to help individuals attain wellness and improve
their lives, however social work was not her path to this
goal. She decided that massage therapy would indeed allow
her to work with people to improve their health and
wellness.
She graduated from
East West College in 2003 with over 800 hours of training in
various massage techniques (533 hours in classroom/course
work, 67 hours in supervised clinical practice, 67 hours in
deep tissue massage, 67 hours in sports massage, and 67
hours in trigger point massage).
East West College is
the only
COMTA accredited massage program in the state of
Oregon. After a short time working at the McMenamins
Edgefield hotel in the massage department Erin moved into
private practice. Her move was motivated by the desire to
use her specific training in deep tissue, trigger point, and
sports massage to improve the health of her clients.
She is an active
member of the
AMTA -
American Massage Therapy Association Erin still uses
the photography portion of her undergraduate training to
explore the Pacific Northwest and capture it in photographs.
